Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 Battle Nexus is a game that is mostly based on the second season of the 2003 TMNT animated series. This level features based on the episode: Looking for Splinter (Part 1 and 2), Turtles in Space (Part 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5), Secret Origins (Part 1, 2 and 3), The Ultimate Ninja, What a Croc !, Back to the Underground, City at War (Part 1, 2, and 3) and Rogue in the House (Part 1 and 2). The game also has 4 tournament which consisted of waves of enemy attacks. The, four Battle Nexus Tournament, based on the fourth episode of The Big Brawl.
Unlike the 2003 TMNT game, Battle Nexus supports up to four players. Every player can choose a "team" consisting of turtles and unlockable character that can replace the turtle. Four teams are present in the game, if less than four players to play, a player can choose more teams and cycle through them in the game.
Unlike previous games, players share a health bar so that if a player gets hurt, reduced health for all of them. Characters have a "weak" and "strong" attack and they do different moves with different combinations. To beat the level, whether you need to get to the point set level, kill all the enemies, kill the boss, survive until time runs out or do a certain goal until the time runs out. Side goal to collect artifacts that are usually hidden or difficult to reach places and to collect pieces of crystal that increase your attack, defense, and throw shuriken attack charge ("fly") capabilities.
